I found this Kate Spade clutch which I think it is adorable. The bags this seasons are so bored even this clutch cheers me up. This bag isn't small. It is perfect for traveling. It can be used as a travel pouch as well as a dinner clutch. For sure it will be a conversational piece.

Bagopedia's Comment: This clutch is ideal as my kind of summer clutch. It has a neon color body in vinyl, semi-transparent, snap closure with a large body (12.5" Wide). It is ideal to put inside my tote as well as carry it individually. The more formal the clutches are , the more formal the occasions they fit. This clutch is ideal for a summer outdoor dinner, party, or an evening drinks. It is big enough to be a small bag.


However, I think the price tag is a bit high for the clutch.

Bagopedia's Comment: You shouldn't be surprised that Bagopedia can always find the weirdest bags in the world. I do appreciate creativities especially for handbags. There are so much you can do and not let people think you are copying something that is already existed. I guess carrying fake grass is a great idea!


This Kate Spade 2012 S/S tote reminds me that I do have a bad allergy to the dust. And I am not sure I want to keep explaining what I am carrying all the time.

Bagopedia's Comment: The design is classic. The color is hot. The leather is smooth. And the stud finish is popular. Only one problem- a big one, the Studs. Valentino's studs are real good studs. They are so heavy and can be used as weapons. The studs make this bag extremely heavy. 2 skinny handles don't seem to be able to support the bag, especially the bag can be extended to a much larger bag (48 CM). Also the handles are so skinny it can be put upside down easily. The studs then will go against your shoulder or below. From a designer's view, it is nice to put studs on the skinny handles, but not fun for real customers.

Bagopedia's Comment: Tiny yet powerful. This bag goes to Bagopedia's collection. It is so small and almost can't do anything. (Don't even think you can use it as a camera bag. It doesn't even take a camera.) Lots of designers are serious about small bags this year. The creativity and details of small bags of this year are incredible. This bag reminds Bagopedia of Judith Leiber and Lulu Guinness (haven't hard that name for a while). Women collecting handbags are just like men collecting cars- some for using, some for looking at.

Bagopedia's Comment: There are more and more companies making tote bags in leather due to the leather's significant improvement. Leathers can be water-resistant, light-weighted, inexpensive and extremely soft. Leathers now are more flexible than ever.

Bagopedia loves the extra long handles. It gives you a lot of room under your shoulders. The size is great (not too large) so you can put it on your shoulder and not feel too big. The leather finish gives the tote bag a more serious look. Tote bags don't belong only to the beaches and grocery stores anymore. The embossed saffiano leather is nice, but the enclosed and detachable leather pouch is extremely cute.
