Bagopedia's Comment: A Happy Divorce
Bagopedia read an article from the New York Times about a couple who had a divorce party to celebrate their divorce. They thought both of their lives would be happier if they got a divorce. Bagopedia also likes to have a divorce to Louis Vuitton after seeing this bag. Bagopedia visited a Louis Vuitton store last week and saw this bag. It was uglier than the photo. It is a very limited production and yet available for the public. You can figure out why.
Bagopedia remembers those days that you needed to kiss the SA's ass if you wanted to have a limited bag. Time has changed. LV limited bags are not so desirable anymore. For Bagopedia, Givenchy is nice. HERMES is nice. Goyard is nice. Many bags are nice. My life will be happier without Louis.
I have this bag in the blue/black/canvas brown combination. My husband drove all the way to Florida from Savannah, Ga because Vuitton wouldn't sell it to him over the phone and ship it because all of the bags he's bought in the past, he out in my name, and they wouldn't sell to someone who hasn't purchased a bag from them within the past year. They told him he could use my credit card to purchase it, but they couldn't sell it to him. Anyway, it was an anniversary gift and honestly, when I opened it, I wasn't immediately in love with it, but I must say, of all the Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Fendi and Prada bags that I own, this one had gotten more comments and compliments from complete strangers. And one thing that every person seems to add is that "it goes with everything". I personally struggle with that concept, but I'm one of those who likes two of everything and things completely symmetrical. However, apparently, the rest of the world isn't so closed minded. I even had a lady in the grocery store ask me if she could take a picture of it!
