Bagopedia had to call the Tiffany store to confirm the price I was given. They told me $595.00 is the correct price for this bag. For $595, it offers a 14.5" wide reversible tote (metallic leather and suede), 7 combinations, gold or platinum hardware (depends on the combinations) and a detachable pouch. You can also get a smaller size for only $395.00. It looks like Tiffany is serious about getting into leather goods market. You really have nothing to lose by getting this bag for this price.

Bagopedia has been waiting to see the bags after Tom Ford announced his launch of the lady's handbag collection. Now we see the bag.

There are a lot of gold color zippers with large zipper polls. That isn't surprised as its Ford's signature. The bottom zipper which is suppose to enlarge the room which isn't necessary. The front zipper which also unnecessary because you can't put anything inside. These unnecessary zippers actually make the bag look good with thick and heavy leather that is used for the bag. It gives the bag an unfinished and industrial look.

Tom Ford knows the accessory pieces are not only tools. They are also weapons. He know people who buy Tom Ford bags are not working class women. They are women who are showing their social status. Women who don't go to the grocery stores or take buses. They know showing status symbols are not practical or cheap.

Earlier in the evening, the trio performed at the 9th Annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre. This annual production calls for creative types to write, direct and perform six original short plays in just under a day. The event benefited Urban Arts Partnership, which provides arts programs for New York public schools.
