Bagopedia's Comment: These days Bagopedia doesn't seem to be able to remove my eyes away from Marni. I don't really like too much detail but I really like this bag. Marni's details are much like, well thought through and on purpose. The ribbon closure is really unique. I also love the yellow color lining. It is much easier to find things instead of a black lining. The ribbon design gives the bag a feminine approach. They also make the outside pockets less visual-able. 


Most hobo bags are slouchy, but this one is a gift.

I also find the handles' length is the most suitable for me. I love to carry totes on my shoulder. Some totes' handles are too short for my shoulder. This is a tote-tote, totally nothing inside the bag. The body is in plastic with leather handles. They are actually two different totes, not the front and the back. The backs are just blank white.

This bag gives studs a new meaning- covered as people start to get tired of the traditional studs- either shinny or not. Even though Bagopedia is not interested getting this bag for myself, it is nice to share some good news.

Fresh from a transatlantic flight, Jessica Simpson was spotted arriving at Heathrow International Airport in London, England today (September 22).

Accompanied by stylist BFF Ken Paves, the “Come on Over” songstress looked a bit down as she strolled past paparazzi hiding behind a pair of sunglasses and carrying a massive handbag.

Jessica carries a MARNI Rectangular Bag ($2,160.00 marni.com). There are many things I like about this bag: First, MARNI is a lovely brand to own. I have been waiting for a perfect timing to get a MARNI bag. I think tis is the time. Extended from the popular "Balloon" Bag, the Rectangular Bag has a shallower depth which makes it easier to carry with a more serious look. It also has a much bigger opening than the Balloon bag that is a huge help. I also like the flexibility of the top corners. You can tuck the corners in if you don't need so much space. That will also change the shape of the bag. The price is a hike. However, it is not too too bad considering it is totally goatskin which is the best leather- light weight and soft. The acrylic and shiny metal handles give the bag a very modern look. I love the color Jessica carries. The metal color leather totally works with black handles.

Still loves it: Reese Witherspoon + Marni

Reese Witherspoon kicks back with a bottle of premium Belgian beer, Stella Artois, during a concert at the Hollywood Bowl with beau Jake Gyllenhaal in Los Angeles on Sunday night (July 12).

The couple watched performances by Ray LaMontagne (with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by David Campbell), Jenny Lewis and Blitzen Trapper. After the concert, Jake was swatting away paparazzi.

Reese still loves it. We have first shown you that Reese carried this Marni bag on July 1. She is still carrying it.

Christine Taylor + Marni

Enjoying a break from reality, Ben Stiller and wife, Christine Taylor, were spotted in Paris France earlier today (July 8).

The “Meet the Fockers” star and his “Tropic Thunder” babe were out walking around the L’Ile Saint Louis all the while laughing, chatting and snapping pictures.

Christine carries a Marni handbag (About 2,000USD). The color is not my color, but there are many colors to choose from. It is very similar to the Marni Balloon bag, just slightly different. I like the removable strap. When you carry the bag by hand, the strap won't be there.

Name the Bag July 02: Reese Witherspoon + Marni

I posted this photo on July 02 and was seeking for comments. Someone "Anonymous" left a comment saying it is shaped like a Marni balloon bag. I really liked this bag so I went to Marni's site. Fortunately, I found the exact bag. It is a Marni Balloon special edition "Kim Gordon" print bag ($1,000). I love Marni bags. I think Marni makes stylish quality bags with reasonable prices. Thanks to "Anonymous".
