Bagopedia's Comment: The economy is bad. You can see designers are making bags providing multiple purposes. Like this Cole Haan clutch, you can carry it as a shoulder bag as well as a clutch by removing the strap. I always put one like this inside my large tote bags. I can take it out for lunch when I don't need to carry my large bag.

I like this clutch even I personally find Cole Haan too safe. The design is simple so carrying it during the day time is quite ok too. The price tag also doesn't burn your wallet.

When I hear Cole Haan, "Safe" comes in my head. I can prove my thought through this bag- safe design, safe size, safe color, and safe price. You can't go wrong with this bag. It's like investments: some people can take more risks than others. Not every woman can afford expensive bags. Or they choose not to spend a lot of money on their handbags. A safe bag at an affordable price tag and can last long time is good enough.

Th spike design also fulfills Bagopedia's wild-at-heart part. Bagopedia has been enjoying Ruthie Davis' shoes that go between the line of high society and go-go dancers. Now I will enjoy the clutches for the same reason.

Bagopedia's Comment: The design totally makes no sense to Bagopedia. It is a carry-one size (20.5" wide) but no zipper. Look how small the orange 35 CM (which is reasonably large bag) looks compared to this tote. Everything is going to fall out of the bag from the cabin. At least the Birkin has a good width that can make the bag stand. Unless you are Eva Longoira who always takes first or business class. Plus, this bag is super heavy.

The antique style gold chain and the leather trim are nice finishes. However, Bagopedia thinks it is time for the 1973 double G logo to fade out. There is nothing elegant about it.

It is time to design new bags instead of playing with an existing perfect bag.

It goes during the day time and night time. Bagopedia also likes the size- larger than other clutches that gives more room for more things. The detachable strap is really handy. You can use it when you go to the function that you know you can't leave the bag alone. OTherwise, you can just hand-carry it.

Bagopedia's Comment: $880.00 for a straw bag? First, Bagopedia is happy that spring has come. It is time for purchasing a straw bag. How do you choose a straw bag? How come the price ranges of straw bags are greater than other bags such as leather?

The price tags on straw bags are very different depending on the finish of the bags. For example, this PRADA bag has a canvas lining, protective metal feet, some inside pockets, removable shoulder strap, then it comes with a PRADA label. It is expensive, but straw bags don't go out of style. You can attach a flower brooch or a silk scarf next year to make it a brand new bag.

The blonde beauty happened to be boosting interest in her collection “Maria Sharapova by Cole Haan” as a part of the company’s 2009 Fall Women’s collection.

Maris carries a Cole Haan Maria Frame Convertible Clutch ($278.00 colehaan.com) which is Cole Hann's new line designed by Maria. This is a reasonably priced clutch under a fairly good name. I am sure the bag will be successful. It is perfect for a lady who need a clutch on a budget. I also love the size which can be used as a day bag. I have been seeing celebrities carrying clutches during day time and look amazing. Since I am not a fan of cross-body bag, the large clutch might make me a new look.

Be honest, this bag doesn't have that "excitement" or "Sparkle" for me. It is a safe bag without that "something special", so I think I will skip this bag. Also, the snake look is embossed which is not a real snake. I don't expect a real snake skin bag for $278.00, but I don't like the "look-alike" tone. I think all skins are beautiful and have different texture. They don't need to be pretended to be "Exotic" or embossed to be other skins. If you don't like the snake look either, the bag comes with gold in natural grain leather- same price.

She carried a Cole Haan Phoebe Triple Zip Satchel ($598.00 on sale for $399.95 Cole Haan). Based on my experience, the companies that specialize in leather goods also make great handbags. I love Cole Haan bags because they are designed to last and will not look silly next year or two. This bag is one of my favourite Cole Haan bags this season. I will take the large size. The price is amazing too. You are not getting a handbag as soft as Bottega or HERMES, but you are getting one for 1/20 of the prices.

Making the most of a beautiful SoCal afternoon, Ashley Greene was spotted grabbing lunch with a friend at the Ivy restaurant yesterday (July 28).

The “Twilight” hottie looked lovely as she arrived at the Santa Monica eatery, sporting an orange sundress with sandals and a massive white handbag.

Ashley carries a Cole Haan Huarache bag in white. This is also a beautiful bag and reasonably priced. I remember it retailed for between $500.00-$600.00 and on sale for around $400.00.
