Bagopedia's Comment: Watching Celine gets so much attention, Chloe seems a bit quieter these few years after the hit of the Paddington. Marcie bag is probably the most interesting one after. Chloe has a lot of expectation of this Angie bag and put it one the ad for 2012 SS collection.


The Angie bag is way too busy for my taste. There is zipper after zipper after zipper. The shape of this bag is not very modern. For me, I love a bag that has a large compartment, not many small  ones. I change bags all the time, so I organize my items into small pouches. The smaller compartments just confuse me. The most popular bags now like Birkin, Motorcycle, Luggage totes all have one large compartment. 


Even the shoulder strap can be removed, I am not sure what you need to shoulder strap for if the handles are already designed for shoulder. I know the economy is bad and many companies design bags for multi-purposes. However, more sometimes isn't more. Even the economy is bad, it just makes the customers smarter.

No, they haven't broken up again, hot Hollywood couple Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are still going strong, but it must be tough to spend so much time apart! Whenever we see these two these days, it seems like one of them is leaving for the airport for work! Here the love birds are at LAX airport in Los Angeles yesterday, sharing a passionate kiss in the car before Hayden went jetting off. We are so glad they are making it work, they are such a lovely couple!

Rachel wears a 3.1 Phillip Lim Edie Bow Purse ($775.00). I just saw the Coco Avant CHANEL movie and is quite taken by "Less is More" and "Fashion is about subtracting". I could live happily with this bag for just one thing- either the strap or the bow, but not both. The strap is to die for and I will rock the economy just for the strap. With the bow, I think it will look good for a while, then the bag will sit inside your closet until you are moving.

Rachel carries a CHANEL classic bag (Price Upon Request. CHAEL). This is a special limited edition CHANEL bag with a bright blue trim. I am glad it is limited because you won't be able to see the bag very often. Can I reach the fashion police if I call 911? How could you do this to a classic bag? The blue and the black do not go together. This is not bold. This is bad.

Rachel carries a Tod's G Bag (Fabric: $825.00 +, Leather: $1,350.00 +). There are many styles, color, with a great range of materials to choose from. I purchased it after seeing Julia Roberts carried one. Now I can't live without it. I carry it everyday. This is the best bag that I have ever found for everyday uses. I suggest to buy the leather one. You pay a bit more, but get much more. I find Tod's leather is much superior than its fabric.

Also, if you are interested in celebrities and handbags, Rachel Bilson is the one to watch. I have found that she has an unique taste in handbags.
