The very first bag comes to my attention this year is this Ferragamo 2012 SS tote which is, as you see, already spotted on many celebrities. It has a very simple design with some elegant executions to make it a less tote-like look. The soft Ferragamo Vermont leather makes the bag super creamy, The curve top makes more room for your arms as well as making the bag more interesting. Overall, it looks like a better finish of the Alexander Wang's Emile tote.

Bagopedia's Comment: If you are a huge fan of Ferragamo, you will recognize the 2011-12 FW black and white pattern. Bagopedia loves the pattern. I think the pattern is understatedly elegant. The clutch will work better with a dress that has a solid color. I am not a huge fan with patterned dresses.

The pattern is printed on python. You know python makes such a big deal in California now. Nobody will notice that this is a python clutch, just isn't legal to trade in California. However, it is legal to own it.

Bagopedia like this Ferragamo bag. I like the horizontal design, the color, the suede (Especially Ferragamo makes great suede products), and the gold hardware. The size goes with what I need- wallet, cell phone, and keys. You can also choose the suede in light blue which Bagopedia absolutely adores, porcelain color in calf leather or python ($2,350.00). However, the price tag is high. You can get a similar look for much less price.

Bagopedia's Comment: Some people set trends. Most people follow them. This is the first time Bagopeida sees anyone carries the HERMES Victoria Travel bag as a daily bag. It makes a lot of senses for a busy woman. Even this bag has a 50 CM width, it is much lighter than a Birkin 40. It also has a soft shell that are more flexible. The handles are long enough to put it on the shoulder. The price tag is reasonable considered it is an HERMES bag and is shelled 100% leather and full lining.

They make beautiful satin products.

In town to promote their new flick “Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans,” Eva Mendes and Nicholas Cage were spotted at the Venice Film Festival today (September 3).

The “We Own the Night” actress and her “National Treasure” costar were both more than happy to strike a few poses for the paparazzi as they meandered around the festival grounds.

I love the looks of Ferragamo bags, but I never own one. I always find Ferragamo bags are fancier than my taste. I am a big believer that a bag should only have one focus. To me, Ferragamo bags have always more than one focus. For example, the Lavante bag above, I love the handles, the shape, the and the buckle. However, I don't think it looks good when they all go together in one bag.

I have just reviewed the Ferragamo fall/winter 2009-2010 collection. I enjoy the bags very much. This bag is one of my favorites, but it still doesn't make me want to own it.
