Bagopedia's Comment: Color-blocking is still popular this fall/winter. You can see style icon Sienna Miller (Yes) and Emma Roberts (Maybe later) are carrying this beautiful Miu Miu bag. I love the color in the front- between red and orange. 

The bag has a open top but a middle zipper compartment. Even though the bag has 3 compartments- middle zipper and open front and back, it doesn't look too chubby. 

The bag also come with light and dark blue combination. Bagopedia likes the red better. It really depends on you are a red person or a blue person.

Bagopedia's Comment: I don't a Sofia Coopola bag because personally I find it a bit smaller than what I'd like for a bag. The SC PM is only 30 CM wide which is smaller than a 30 CM Birkin due to the zipper. I haven't seen this bag until yesterday when I was picking up the sunglasses that I ordered at the LV store.


There was a happy customer who was lucky enough to get this bag. Trust me, the photo doesn't tell the truth of the color which is much lighter than the picture. The color looks like a cool pool water in the summer. I just haven't seen any color that is as gorgeous!


I told my LV SA that I was surprised that I missed this bag which is features on the model of the cruise line 2012 ad. I immediately ordered it. I know it will come. I just don't know how long I have to wait which kills me now!

This bag reminds me of the Pop Top Bags (Below, $125.00 www.escamastudio.com) which is much more economic and environmental friendly. Bagopedia doesn't understand why famous brands are making products that are already existed by charging 10 times more money and ask customers to get excited.

The antique style gold chain and the leather trim are nice finishes. However, Bagopedia thinks it is time for the 1973 double G logo to fade out. There is nothing elegant about it.

The bag won't be available until August or September as a fall winter 2011-12 bag and is in a very limited quantity (was told 1000 pieces total in the U. S.). The ChYc collection started as a shoulder bag and has become a very popular collection for YSL. The Cabas shopper is shelled in calfskin and has a Y closure in gold color. The Cabas bag is a structured tote which fits in Bagopedia's territory. Unfortunately Bagopedia wasn't given one but has put down my order for a black one. I am just hoping that I receive it before other people.

Sienna Miller, Penelope Cruz, and Mianda Kerr carry PRADA Saffiano + Tessuto Tote in red from PRADA's fall 2009 runway collection, ($1,450.00 Neiman Marcus). I did not like to bag at first sight because I don't like the buckle and thought the Nylon sides are kind of cheating. The bag has gained so much attention in Hollywood since. I started to change my attitude toward the bag a bit. I realize the nylon sides actually help reducing the price of the bag. The bag is priced reasonable because of that. I think that is about PRADA- combining material well.

I don't think I am in love with the bag, but I am working on that.

Sienna Miller + PRADA Saffiano + Tessuto Tote

Stepping out for a bite to eat with her soon-to-be co-star, Sienna Miller was spotted out in New York City with Jonny Lee Miller on Monday (August 24) .

The “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” hottie looked to be having a great time with her Broadway beau, grabbing some grub at Caffe Gitane in SoHo.

Sienna carries a PRADA Saffiano + Tessuto Tote ($1,450.00 neimanmarcus) from PRADA's fall Runway Collection. I don't want to sound unkind as a huge PRADA fan, but again PRADA is disappointing. As a consumer under this economy, I do not want to spend my money on handbags that shows season/years. The extremely huge buckle on the front of the bag shows its year. That will embarrass me to carry it next year.

Also, PRADA is not the only disappointment in this photo. There are only a few celebrities who have great styles. Sienna is one of them. However, this is the second time that I find disappointment the way she chooses her handbag. I did not like the YSL bag she carried last time.

The "elephant" color and the "army" design of this bag only makes me to want to wear it when I play low key on a rainy day.
